The story is about a girl, Syrah Cheng, that is struggling to figure out the problems of her and her family’s life.

It was a great read. I don’t look at the back unless I want to read the acknowledgements. What’s the point of reducing life to a question of survival, as if our time on Earth is some ordeal to be endured?
