Her hair-raising methods of exacting confessios, which ostensibly start with cartons of healthful, calcium-rich milk injected with HIV-infected blood and then escalate into more frightening and effective stratagems of psychological manipulation, confedsions made even scarier by the terrible calm with which she executes and describes them.
What sets the book different is the plot which is written in the first person account with very few dialogues, in the form of a teacher’s lecture or somebody’s diary extract. I still found this novel as a debut. Once you’ve read it, I think you need to spread the word. Two students murdered the daughter of their teacher and she takes revenge. This book did not disappoint by any means and the way it flowed into issues with the law and society confessionz Japan and showed how that played out with the events occurring in the book was seamless.

Those who love a thriller with many hidden revelations will enjoy this and need not worry about the translation, as it keeps a seamless narrative.
That’s why the surprises within actually surprised me, but to be honest I was expecting that, for the book to pleasantly surprise me which it did aplenty.
Indeed, the only disappointment is the rather neatly rushed ending.
